She Shall Be Called Woman

To truly understand the way the Lord views femininity is to live as one who is fully alive. In a world that often speaks in cliches and labels, God desires to reveal who He is through a greater understanding of who we are.

The Blessed Mother is our perfect example of what it is to be a woman in love with the Lord. Saint Louis de Montfort defined ten virtues that Mary exhibited throughout her life. These virtues are challenging, but they are not impossible. This season will shed light on each of these virtues while offering a roadmap to holiness. Each session provides a practical framework so you can deepen your prayer life, improve your relationships, and enrich your family life.

Join us Tuesdays from 10:30am - 12:00pm in JPG Hall for our “She Shall Be Called Woman” Meetings! Women of ALL ages are welcome!

Need childcare? Register your children ages 18 mo+! We ask for a small fee to cover babysitter payment. Click HERE to register your children!

Tenebrae

Tenebrae

What is Tenebrae?

The word “tenebrae” means darkness, and it represents the Divine Office prayers formerly said in the dark hours of the morning. In the Tenebrae, the Church mourns the passion and death of Jesus and urgers her children to return to God.

Candles are extinguished one after another, to signify Jesus’ apostles, whom He calls the light of the world, gradually leaving Him at His death. At the time of His death, the world was covered in complete darkness. The loud noise at the end signifies the earthquake which took place after Jesus’ death.
