Community Dinner Hang-Out
College Students: Join us for our Summer Community Dinner Hang-Outs! Summer dinners will take place on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays of the month from May - August.
We will enjoy good food and fellowship amongst our Campus Ministry student community. All students are welcome!
Confession/Adoration (6pm) and Holy Mass (7:15pm) are available before the dinner begins.
St. John Fisher Feast Day Celebration + Corpus Christi Procession
10:00am: Holy Mass
11:00am: Corpus Christi Procession around OU’s campus (approximately 1.5 miles)
12:30pm: Feast Day Barbecue Celebration @ St. John Fisher

Wagons/strollers are welcome on the procession.
Lunch will be fully provided by the parish!
*In the event of rain, we will serve food in JPG Hall.

When: Thursday June 26th - Sunday June 29th
Who: Open to Grizzly Catholic College Students & College-Aged
Cost: Retreat Center Total Cost $165 / person - Grizzly Catholic is paying 2/3rd's of the cost, so your individual out-of-pocket cost is $55 for the retreat center!
* Please bring $55 Cash with you to pay the retreat center for your portion of the trip
** In addition to $55 cash, please also bring additional money for your own spending. The retreat center includes lodging and meals while at the retreat center. It does not include your gas, food, etc that you buy outside of the retreat center. Plan to buy ~2-3 meals outside of the retreat center during the trip.
Description: Join your Grizzly Catholic Friends for a truly incredible retreat experience at the Companions of Christ the Lamb Retreat Center in Paradise Michigan! The Companions of Christ the Lamb Retreat Center is absolutely beautiful, and is located on over 1,000 acres of Upper peninsula beauty. The property is full of Catholic stuff, trails, and beautiful nature. Our retreat will include: Lodging (separate housing for men and women), Most Meals, Daily Mass (and Confession availability), lots of time for prayer, and a good mixture of structure and free time for a truly beautiful retreat experience.
While on Retreat, we will do fun things as a group such as: Visiting Tahquamenon Falls (less than 30 min from retreat center), Going on beautiful hikes, exercising and working out, bonfires, etc...
Lodging (3 nights stay)
Meals (3 meals / day available while we are there. We will need to buy some of our own meals during traveling days)
Daily Mass (Confession availability as well)
Chapel access for plenty of prayer time
Fun activities such as: Visiting Tahquamenon Falls, Hiking beautiful Trails, Bonfires, etc!
Carpool: Retreatants are expected to meet at St. John Fisher at 6AM to carpool to the retreat. We will leave at 6:30AM
Detroit Zoo Trip!
College Students: Join your Grizzly Catholic friends as we take a little trip to the Detroit Zoo!

Ticket & RSVP Information: Grizzly Catholic Campus Ministry purchased 20 tickets to the Detroit Zoo, and 5 parking passes for our college ministry. First to RSVP get the tickets!
Schedule:
- (Optional but encouraged) Mass at St. John Fisher 9AM
- Meet at St. John Fisher for Carpool at 9:45AM
- Leave from St. John Fisher at 10AM (Carpooled into 5 cars)
- Spend approximately 3 hours at the Zoo (~10:30/11 - 1:30/2)
- Return to St. John Fisher (~ 2:30PM)
** We will be carpooling from St. John Fisher as we have 5 parking passes (4 people / car). In order to attend, we ask you to please be available to join us for this carpool.
Student-Led Summer Hang-Out

*NOTE: Dinner will NOT be provided on these occasions.

Young Adults & College Students: Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with other Catholic young adults and college students at St. John Fisher! We will enjoy a BBQ and fellowship together on our back deck at 7pm (immediately following 6pm Holy Mass).
Please bring a dish to share.
YCP Detroit at St. John Fisher!
Young Adults & College Students: St. John Fisher is excited to host Young Catholic Professionals of Detroit for their monthly Executive Speaker Series! The evening will feature Ave Maria Radio Director of Theology, Marcus Peter.

1) Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane

3) Jesus before Caiaphas
4) Jesus before Pilate
5) Jesus before Herod
6) Jesus before Pilate again
7) Jesus’s crucifixion and death
